If Tantra is not a cult, then what is it?

There are many philosophies about this life. I have chosen one that represents a holistic approach of the study of the universal from the point of view of the individual.

The significance of this choice is that I maintain that Truth is from within. That we have the Truth in us, whether we know it or not. We have a divine nature, whether we follow it or not.

Tantra isn't an organisation that leads anyone to the truth. A belief is purely an individual matter, and it cannot be organised for anyone. It isn't about bringing the Truth from anywhere to anyone, It is about reaching within and have it.

If an organisation is created to look for the Truth outside; then it becomes a crutch, a weakness, a bondage and cripples all the members and prevent them from growing, from establishing his or her own uniqueness, which lies in the discovery for him or her Self. Under these conditions Tantra does become a cult.

There is nothing to add or take away from one's being as it already contains its absolute essence. It exists beyond the realms of religious dogma, belief systems and moral precepts and organisations.

Tantra is a ritual for personal spiritual awareness to set man free. Nothing more and nothing less. Many will force it into a dogma, an organisation or a cult. Thankfully tantra has survived all these manmade structures.

People are to be free from all fears; from the fear of religion, from the fear of salvation, from the fear of spirituality, from the fear of love, from the fear of sex, from the fear of intimacy, from the fear of death, from the fear of life itself.

After you have been exposed to the techniques of Tantra for some time you can ask yourself these questions: Are you freer, greater, more dangerous to every structure which is based on the false and the unessential? In what way have you become different? Have you grown? Have you reconnected to your own Truth? Are you who you are or are you still looking?

Are you depending for your spirituality on someone else? For your happiness on someone else? For your enlightenment on someone else? The enlightenment, the greatness, the abundance you seek is all in yourself.
